This Friday's Question:

Reading Blues: We all get them from time to time. What helps you overcome those reading slumps when nothing seems to grab your attention?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, when this happens to me that's when I take a bit of a break. I find that if I distance myself from searching and scrounging for a new book; one will appear on it's own. Like for example, after I read Pure from Jennifer L. Armentrout I mainly focused on writing a review for it. I did have the urge to go look for a new book but I stopped myself. After a week or so a comedy mystery series caught my eye. You may have heard it it's the Spellman Files by Lisa Lutz. I actually bought two books from the series and currently reading them. Check it out if your intrested!

  1. Taking a break seems to be a common answer. It would definitely work for me too... though my problem is that I often WANT to read, really crave it, but just can't find the time in my busy schedule. That's very frustrating for me. So it's very uncommon for me to actually have time to read, and just not want to do it. Great answer!
